Recordings are a valuable tool for reviewing your Evercast sessions after they've ended. You access recordings from a room's tile on the dashboard or from within a live room (though it'll make you leave the room first).
Note
Only a room owner or those with recording privileges can create new recordings or delete saved recordings. However, any participant who's been invited to a room can view the room's saved recordings.
-
On the dashboard, find the room you want. Click the button with the three dots on the upper right corner of the room's tile.
-
Select Recordings. The Recordings screen opens.
-
On the Recordings screen, on the right, click the recording you want to play. The recording loads in the main viewer.
-
To leave the Recordings screen, click on your initials in the top right corner of the window, and select Dashboard.
Tip
When recording, all streams and webcam feeds are recorded individually. This means when you play it back, you can choose which feed to view in the main screen, just as if you were live in the room again.
-
In the desktop app version 3.0+, hover over the room name in the top left of your app. Click on Recordings.
In Evercast for Chrome or the desktop app version 2.x, click the More button on the bottom right, and then Recordings & clips.
-
Confirm that you want to leave the room. The Recordings screen opens.

On the recordings screen, click the comments button on the top right corner.
Any chats entered in the live room while the recording was made appear here with a timestamp of where in the timeline of the recording the comment was made.
Tip
In a live room, any comments made during a recording will show a red time stamp. Click the time stamp to open the recording directly, to the place in the recording where the comment was made. Please note this action will make you leave the live room.
