App Share offers a new approach to interactive teamwork. You can share your commonly-used apps into an Evercast session, then allow other participants to take control of the mouse and make changes. This way you can all navigate within the app, without ever leaving Evercast.
Note: App Share is available to Evercast Suites subscribers.
Here's a video overview of App Share:
Here's how to use App Share:
-
Go to the Stream menu. You will see options for Stream SyncSketch, Stream Flow Production Tracking, and Stream Frame.io review. Select the one you want to use.
-
The app will launch in the main window of your Evercast Suite. You may be asked to sign in or paste in a link.
-
You can share controls with other participants by going to the arrow icon at the bottom right of the main window. Hover over the arrow, then toggle on Allow remote control.
Other participants can then choose Start remote control to take control of the mouse and keyboard within the shared app.
When you have remote control, you can play, pause, scrub, make comments, and do anything else available inside that app, without actually needing to run the app on your local device.
-
To stop using remote control, return to the arrow icon and click Stop remote control.
Note
The draw tool and remote control can't be used at the same time.
