Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is an extra safety measure to protect your account. When activated, you'll have to verify each time you sign in, using an authentication app (such as Google Authenticator for iOS or Android) or a hardware device (such as YubiKey).
Here's how to set it up.
On the dashboard, at the top right corner, click the icon that shows the first letter of your display name.
In the Account settings window, click the Activate Multi-factor authentication link. An email is sent to you to verify your request.
In the email, click the Verify button, or paste the link into your Google Chrome browser.
Follow the steps on the screen. You'll need to download and install an authentication app on your mobile device and then open it. Click Next when ready.
A QR code will appear on your screen. Scan it with your authentication app to get a verification code.
Enter the code on the Evercast setup screen, and click Verify.
You've enabled MFA! Now every time you sign in to Evercast, you'll be prompted to enter a code from your authentication app.
