Here are some tips to give you the best experience possible with EBS, when streaming to an Evercast room.
For the best performance, use an Ethernet connection (not Wi-Fi) when streaming. If you must use Wi-Fi, use your 5 GHz network if you're close to your router and your 2.4 GHz network if you’re farther away.
If you must run both EBS and Evercast on the same device, use Incognito mode on your browser to disable the plugins and limit CPU usage.
-
Try adjusting the FPS, stream bitrate, and resolution inside EBS.
-
Close other apps you have running on your device.
-
Close any additional tabs you have open on your web browser.
-
Turn off Google Chrome extensions.
-
Hide the participant thumbnails in the Evercast room by clicking the Layout button and selecting Hide Thumbnails.
-
Within the Evercast room on your browser, find the EBS thumbnail and click on the "three dots" icon. Then select Video off to disable the video. This will not affect other participants in the room from viewing the stream.

You can also check your computer's CPU usage and terminate processes as needed:
-
MacOS: Open Activity Monitor and select the Memory tab at the top of the window. You can quit high-CPU processes by double-clicking on them and then selecting Quit.
-
Windows: Open Task Manager > Performance tab > Open Resource Monitor > CPU tab > Sort by CPU column. Then right-click on high CPU processes and click End Process Tree.
