Having issues with your webcam or microphone in the Evercast room? We can help.
When first using Evercast you will be prompted to allow your webcam and microphone on Google Chrome. If you accidentally clicked Block, you will have to re-allow the devices.

Go to the "three dots" in the top right corner of your Chrome browser. From the dropdown menu, choose Settings. The Chrome settings page will open in a new tab.

From the Chrome settings page, click the Privacy and security button on the left side menu, then click Site Settings.

In the Site Settings window, you will see Camera and Microphone. Click the device you want to unblock.

You should see https://app.evercast.us:43 under the Block section. To unblock it, simply click the trash bin icon at the right.

Now that your device(s) are unblocked in the browser, you will need to enable them in Evercast. Enter the Evercast room again by pasting in the URL or clicking the button in your email invitation. This will take you back to the Evercast lobby. You should see a pop-up asking you to Allow or Block your device(s). Click Allow for both your webcam and microphone.

Once you see yourself on screen, click Enter room to join the room.
When first using Evercast, you will be prompted to allow your webcam and microphone on Safari. If you accidentally clicked Don't allow or Never for This Website, you will have to update your settings.

Go to the Safari menu at the top left of your Mac and select Settings. Click on the Websites tab at the top of the window.

On the left, find Camera and Microphone.

Make sure app.evercast.us is set to Allow or Ask.

Enter the Evercast room by pasting in the URL or clicking the button in your email invitation. This will take you to the room lobby. If you see another popup asking you to allow "app.evercast.us" click on Allow.

You can use the buttons in the lobby to enable or disable your camera and mic, or open the Settings window. Once you have your devices set, click Enter room to join the room session.
1. Go to the Apple menu in the top left of your Mac, choose System Settings, then select Privacy & Security.
2. Find Camera and Microphone. Make sure that Evercast is toggled on in both tabs.
