Here's how to join an Evercast room.
You can join an Evercast room using a web browser, the Evercast desktop app (Mac or Windows), an iOS device, or an Apple Vision Pro headset. Visit our download page to get started.

If you got an email from Evercast with an invitation to join a room, then open the email (check your spam folder if you don’t see one) and click the Join room button.
Or, if someone simply sent you a room link, then click the link.

A launch page opens with options for how to continue. To use the desktop app, accept the browser’s prompt to open Evercast, and it will launch automatically.

A launch page opens with options for how to continue. To continue using Evercast in your web browser, click Cancel in the pop-up window.

Then at the bottom of the page, click the link to continue in your web browser.
The sign-in page will appear next.
If you see the Join as a guest screen, then the room is open, and you can join with or without an account.
If you only see the option to sign in with an account, that means the room is private, and you must have an account to join the room.

On the Join as a guest screen, enter your name and email address.
- Click Continue. You're now in the lobby.

If your browser asks to use the camera and microphone, click Allow.

On the Join as a guest screen, click Sign in.

Enter your email and password. Or select one of the SSO (Single Sign On) options if your organization has that set up.

Click Sign in. You're now in the lobby.

Join as a guest
If you see the Join as a guest screen, then you can join the room with or without an account.
If you only see the option to sign in with an account, that means the room is private, and you must have an account to join the room.
- On the Join as a guest screen, enter your name and email address.

Tap Join. You're now in the lobby.
Join with your Evercast account (recommended)
- If you see the Join as a guest screen, tap Sign in. The Sign in screen opens.
- On the Sign in screen, enter your email and password. Or select one of the SSO (Single Sign On) options if your organization has SSO set up.

Tap Continue. You're now in the lobby.
After signing in, you enter the lobby, where you can check your microphone, webcam, and speakers before you join the room.

Make sure your camera works and that you see yourself on the screen.
To turn your camera on/off, click the camera button at the bottom of your video preview.

Test your mic by unmuting it and speaking—you should see the grey background moving on the mic icon.

You can adjust your settings using the dropdown menus on the right. Settings may vary depending on whether you are using the web app or the desktop app.
- Make sure your camera works and that you see yourself on the screen. To turn off your camera, tap the camera button.
- Make sure your microphone works. You should see motion in the circle microphone button when you are talking. To turn off your microphone, tap the microphone button.

To change your microphone or camera, tap the dropdown menus at the bottom of the screen and select a different device.
