Color: Added support for signal formats in 8-bit (4:2:2 and 4:4:4) and 10-bit (4:2:0, 4:2:2, and 4:4:4) in the Rec.709 color space.
-
Decoding of streams of quality above 8 bit 4:2:0 requires strong CPU resources. Because of this, we've added a message warning users when video playback is slow due to CPU resources.
-
Added a new configuration option that allows organizations to choose whether or not to allow high accuracy color streams (8-bit (4:2:2 and 4:4:4) and 10-bit (4:2:0, 4:2:2, and 4:4:4)) in the app. If the setting is turned off, a message appears on the screen warning users that the stream is blocked.
-
Now the app shows streams coming from the Evercast for Mac or Windows apps and from Evercast for Chrome.
-
If there are multiple streams in a room, Apple TV will now show the last one that was started.
-
Performance optimizations were made for when the stream isn't currently displayed.
