1. From your account dashboard, click the "three dots" button on the top right of your room tile and select Apple TV sign-in.

From within a live room, you can hover over the main window while a stream is playing. A down-arrow icon will appear in the top corner of the stream window.

Click the arrow and select Output to Apple TV.

2. A window will appear asking you to enter the code from your Apple TV.

We recommend turning on Allow reconnections to the room. This lets the app automatically reconnect to an active room if you leave or get disconnected, without you needing to re-enter the 5-digit code each time.

3. If you enter the correct code, you will get a green success notification. You are now waiting for the room owner or room admin to approve the Apple TV login request.

If the room owner or room admin is not in the room, you will also get a red error message:

The room owner or room admin will receive a notification to accept or deny the Apple TV access.

When the room owner accepts or denies a request, the participant will receive a notification.

Once a stream is playing, it will display in the room:

To avoid hearing double audio, you can mute the stream in your Evercast room so the sound is only coming from the Apple TV. To mute the stream audio, hover over the stream thumbnail and click on the down arrow button that appears. Then select Turn off audio.

If you leave the room on the Apple TV, you will have the options to Join another room or go back to the room you were in. Checking the box on Autoconnect to [room name] will let the app automatically reconnect next time.

To stop a stream from playing on the Apple TV, double-click the Home button on the Apple TV remote. Then swipe up on the Evercast Apple TV app to quit the app. Press the Home button again to return to the Apple TV home screen.
