If participants in the Evercast room are experiencing freezes, here are a few helpful tips.
NOTE: If everyone that is live in the Evercast room sees the freezing, that means the data corruption is happening on the computer that is sending the stream. If only one person is seeing freezes, the data corruption is happening on that person's internet connection.
WHAT TO DO WHEN STREAMING TO PARTICIPANTS WITH BAD INTERNET CONNECTIONS
1) In the settings of EBS, click the 'Output' tab. Try to reduce the stream bitrate. Default is 2500. You can go as low as 1200 if you are streaming in 720. Start at dropping the bitrate to 1500 and see if that helps.
2) Streaming at a lower bitrate and lower resolution/fps can help too. To stream in a lower resolution and fps, click the 'Video' tab in EBS settings. Change the output resolution to 720. Additionally, changing the FPS to 30 can help as well.
