Push-to-talk microphones are useful for avoiding feedback while streaming and conferencing simultaneously in an Evercast session. Here's how to make it work.
1. Move your mouse to the bottom of the screen until the toolbar appears. Navigate to the bottom right corner and click the 'More' submenu. From there, click the headphones icon labeled 'Device Selection,' which will open a pop-up window.
2. From the microphone device dropdown menu, select your push-to-talk microphone. The name of your push-to-talk microphone will vary by the brand and model of the mic.
3. Check to see that your microphone is working by talking into the mic and checking the 'Microphone Level' audiometer at the bottom left of the pop-up window. When you see the green bar move, you're good to go! Click 'Save.'
