This article pertains to the new Evercast (Feb 2021 or later). For help on this issue with Evercast Legacy, click here.
Great news, you've been invited to an Evercast room! Now here's how to access it.
Receiving the invite email
The first time you use a private Evercast room, you will need to be invited by the room owner. Once they have invited you, you will receive an invitation via email. If Google Chrome is your default browser, simply click the 'Enter Room' button in the email. Otherwise, copy and paste the invite token into Google Chrome.

Accepting an invite
If you are not currently signed in to Evercast or do not have an Evercast account, you will be brought to this page where you can choose to sign in or enter the room as a guest (If you are only given the option to sign in, this means the room is set to 'private.' Click here for more info on private rooms).
To enter the room as a guest, simply pick a display name and click 'Continue.' To enter the room using your Evercast account, tap the 'Click here' link circled in the image below and continue to sign in.

Allowing your webcam and mic
1. After you have either logged into an account or entered a guest display name, you will be taken to the Evercast lobby. From there, Google Chrome will prompt you to 'allow' your webcam and microphone.
2. Once you have clicked 'Allow' for both your webcam and your microphone, you should see yourself on screen, and the green 'Microphone Level' audiometer below should move when you speak. If you need to select a different webcam or microphone, click the headphones icon.

3. Once you are ready to join the room, click the red 'Go Live' button.
