We’ve heard you! We're always working to improve your experience on Evercast. Here’s a roundup of the latest changes.
You can now stream both your DAW video and audio through the desktop app, in one easy step. This feature eliminates the need to run EBS in parallel with the desktop app.
Here's how to do it.
-
Launch your Pro Tools, Ableton, or any other DAW.
In your live Evercast room, on the bottom toolbar, click the Stream button, and then select Screenshare.
-
In the Settings window, use the Audio source dropdown to select your custom audio input.
On the Evercast desktop app, you can now customize your resolution, frame rate, and bitrate in the Screenshare settings menu.
The Stream details window is now available for Screenshare streams. This window lets you know how a source stream is adapting to your display, so you can be aware of any inconsistencies.
-
We added our Pixelweave™ rendering to DeckLink streams. This technology uses your computer's graphics processing unit (GPU) to provide exceptional video quality and improved system performance.
-
In the Stream NDI® settings menu, we added a Color range dropdown so you can select between Legal (Video) and Full range.
-
We set the minimum bitrate for all streams to 1,000 Kbps, to improve overall streaming quality.
To experience these features and more, make sure to update your Evercast app for Mac and Windows.
Happy streaming! Stay tuned until next time.
