We’ve heard you! We're always working to improve your experience on Evercast. Here’s a roundup of the latest changes.
You can now broadcast your in-development video game footage to your team using an Elgato capture card. Whether you use a gaming PC, Xbox, or PS5, our Elgato integration lets you stream from your gaming platform directly into a room.
Here's how it works
The Evercast for Windows app automatically detects when an Elgato card is connected to your system.
In Conference mode, click on the Stream button in the bottom toolbar, then select Stream Elgato.
In Stream only mode, click the Stream Elgato button on the bottom toolbar.
A stream settings window will appear. You should see a preview of your video on the right side. Adjust your settings as needed and then click Start.
The stream will begin in your room.
When you’re ready to stop streaming, click the red Stream button on your bottom toolbar. From the popup menu, select Stop Elgato stream.

For streamers, the volume slider on the lower right now shows numerical dB levels and multi-channel audio visualizations (up to 7.1 surround).
We also increased your control over the volume range, which is now -60dB to +20dB.
The Special Guest Invite feature lets a room owner create a single-use link for a guest to join a private, live Evercast room. The access link expires five minutes after being generated or after the first use of the link, whichever comes first. When the current room session is over, the special guest will no longer have access to the room.
For more information about inviting special guests, view our Help Center article.
We reduced the load time for getting into your room.
At the bottom left of a shared stream, you can now see the name of the file being streamed, or the device name, or the name of the person who is streaming.
We increased the accuracy of HDR color metadata for Apple devices.
Keep your credentials secure by integrating your company SSO (single sign-on) with Evercast. Contact your Account Manager to set up enterprise SSO for your organization.
To experience these features and more, make sure to update your Evercast app for Mac and Windows.
Happy streaming! Stay tuned until next time.
